Welcome

Hi!

MeWelcome to my wiki, where you can find information about my work.

This wiki has been primarily created to share my work with my colleagues, but sometimes I may use it as a sketchbook for my projects.

My Curriculum Vitae

The ROOT framework @ CERN

ROOT logo by Giuliana Carminati

I'm currently a PhD student at the University of Torino, Italy working for CERN.

I am a doctoral student in the PH-SFT group working for the ROOT project, a free, open-source, object-oriented framework for data analysis widely used in the scientific world. It is especially the base framework used by High Energy Physics experiments at LHC.

I am particularly involved in the development of PROOF, a framework for parallel data analysis with ROOT using many cores on different machines. PROOF-Lite particularly exploits parallelism by using the available parallel threads on a single machine.
